The ledger

How this site is held to its standard.

NarraWise claims a standard. This page is where the claim meets its receipts: what is enforced on every build, which gates the site has passed, every review it has received — including the one that failed — and how to check all of it without taking anyone’s word.

The code is private; the artefacts are public here. Whatever can be measured is measured on every build and rendered from one source. Whatever could only be asserted is not on this page.

Enforced on every build

The weight budget is code, not intent: if a built state exceeds any of these limits there is no build — and no published number smaller than the truth.

Gates

The method has seven gates. Two are on record here — the ones with an artefact in the repository; the intermediate gates were not reconstructed after the fact.

Reviews

Every review this site has received — the overall score is the weakest of seven dimensions, never an average. The bad one is here because it is true.

  1. self-assessed80

First scorecard of the built edition.

  2. self-assessed88

Acceptance as Master Piece; weakest dimension: content.

  3. independent85

Independent re-audit under a raised floor of 90 — layout and documentation below it.

  4. self-assessed90

After the “workpiece” round (living system, thread, composition), read against the award corpus.

  5. independent35

Independent critical reading: this page claimed “under 110 KiB” at a measured 132, and the repository held contradictory records. Both fixed the same day — and the reason every number here is now measured on each build, not typed in.

Certificate

Issued 2026-07-08, valid until 2026-10-28, on a scorecard whose weakest dimension stood at 70 — with tolerance. It is out of date and will be reissued only after a fresh review of the built result, not before.

Check for yourself

Nothing here asks for trust.

  3. Switch JavaScript off — every page stands complete.
  4. Turn on reduced motion in your system — the helix stands still as a picture.
